With easyname you have the option to activate a transferlock for your domain depending on the TLD (Top Level Domain). This can prevent your domain from being unintentionally transferred by strangers or unauthorized persons. This protection can be removed at any time and is only available for certain domains.
Here you will find a list of our TLDs with the info if a transfer lock is supported.
The transferlock of your domain can be undone or activated at any time via the easyname control panel. Login into your control panel and navigate to [Domains] → [Manage] (Pen-Symbol) on the right side of your domain, then scroll down to [Undo transferlock].
Please note that some TLDs can not be transferred (e.g., .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info) if the domain's registration was within the last 60 days. Such regulations are set by the respective registries, which must be complied by each domain provider. After 60 days the domain can be transferred as usual.
